“Deep tones for inhale, soft fades for exhale”

Zdenek Konvalina transforms “breath” into the central motif of the exhibition, symbolizing the rhythm between convergence and release, flow and pause—forming a continuous, organic cycle. Deep tones gather strength like an inhale, while gentle fades release tension like an exhale. Each brushstroke and every layer of paint moves in rhythm with this breathing cadence, as if time itself softly flows across the canvas, rendering the entire exhibition a complete and meditative cycle of breath.

Rich Art Gallery is pleased to present “The Mutable Constant” at booth 【B19】, featuring eight contemporary artists from Taiwan and abroad — Huang Po-Ren(Taiwan), Lin Chun-Pin (Taiwan), Hakuta Yoshuya (Japan), Zdenek Konvalina (Czech Republic), Jo Gyuhun (Korea), ROTTEVEEL VERMEER (The Netherlands artist duo), Franklin Collao (Mexico), and Elke Foltz (France).

Titled “The Mutable Constant”, the booth explores how art responds to uncertainty in an ever-changing era, while seeking an inner order and spiritual anchor. Eight artists from Taiwan and abroad engage with their respective media and visual languages to offer multifaceted interpretations of “constancy”.
